SCR PERFORMANCE TEST

During the operation of the SCR system, the overall NOx reduction efficiency will gradually decrease over time due to imbalances in the distribution of NH3 injection and the formation of sulfate and bisulfate salts resulting from sulfur content in the fuel and catalyst degradation. Therefore, periodic checks of the overall system efficiency are necessary to prolong the catalyst lifespan, optimize operation, and avoid waste of reducing agent.

Additionally, assessing the efficiency of the SCR system is crucial during catalyst replacement at plants. The results of efficiency checks serve as important criteria for project completion acceptance.
